The West Adams Heights/Sugar Hill area of Los Angeles was developed between 1900 and 1920, catering to the wealthy entrepreneurs of that era. After the Great Depression, the area hit hard times. But in the last 20-25 years, there has been a renewed interest in the community to restore the elegant old homes.
